Pilot use cases
For research groups that want to discuss DFT, MLIP, MD, semiconductor diagnostics, welding process modelling or materials characterization pilots.
This contact point is intended for research groups that would like to discuss possible pilot use cases within the Digital Materials Research Infrastructure of NASU.
Pilot use cases may include computational materials workflows, FAIR packaging of research outputs, repository deposit, metadata preparation, or combined experimental and computational scenarios.
Typical topics
- DFT, MLIP and MD workflows for materials modelling.
- Semiconductor diagnostics and modelling.
- Welding process testing and simulation.
- Metallic systems modelling and characterization.
- Preparation of datasets, README files, metadata and DOI-ready research objects.
- Integration of pilot results into RI services, resources and training materials.
What to include in your request
Please briefly describe the research problem, the type of data or workflow involved, the expected output, and the institute or research group responsible for the work.
